Cities of Light

​

Ancient wisdom and cutting edge science are converging to reveal the truth of the Oneness of all of Creation. On the basis of that Oneness, the evolution of consciousness occurs simultaneously at individual, relational, collective, and planetary levels, in a holographic manner such that the whole is contained in each part. Therefore, when any one of us, any relationship, any community, any aspect of the Earth changes, the whole system shifts and changes accordingly.

As a reflection of the inward change humanity is undergoing,

a transformational process is at work reshaping our outer World.

 

This evolutionary progression is governed by the vantage-point of our interconnectedness and the associated virtues of compassion and solidarity. As any Being perceives Life through the lens of Oneness-Consciousness, it is the most natural impulse to tend to the preciousness of All Life and to take care for the good of the whole.

Awakening to our Oneness is a matter of embodying a greater and greater fullness of the Light of Love. 
 

This illumination, taking place at the level of our DNA, is restructuring humanity's expression into the potential of our higher template, as a species capable of truly knowing Peace. Like the imaginal cells of a caterpillar let go of their old form and begin to line up for the new creation of the butterfly-to-be, according to the intelligence of each cell in resonance with the whole, humankind is now lining up to partner together in our new becoming. This means letting go of the old structures which have upheld the fabric of our lives, so that we can experience ourselves in a whole new way.

As we fully awaken to our connection with one another, the planet, and the universe,

a New Earth can be born. 

​

The New Earth is birthed as more Light is anchored into the planet by way of our human lives becoming illuminated with the Light which we truly are. That is the Self-Same Light which upholds the Conscious Universe. As we are awakening, the universe is awakening to itself. This first takes place within individuals, then in relationships, then extending into communities, and eventually the Light of Consciousness will spread across the whole world.

Pathways To Peace and Project Evolve align in this cause of bringing people together in physical places as well as online spaces, so that the Light of individuals and communities can begin to shine forth, anchoring in the potentials of the New Earth's rising. With the presence of conscious humans acting as acupuncture needles along the meridians of the Earth, this literally and very tangibly contributes to the luminous power of the ley line structures as energy grids which underlie the planetary arising. As the grids are lit up, they can more fully radiate their wisdom, which can then be picked up as intuitive guidance for those sensitive to the messages of the Earth, inspiring us as to how we can tend to life at this phase of midwifery between the 'old' and the New.

Pathways To Peace has identified cities as the societal structural level to uphold a Culture of Peace.

Project Evolve acknowledges that communities are the empowering engine within cities,
for cultivating the "common-unity" of the communities where Citizens of Earth
are each supported in playing their luminous part.

 

For cities to become beacons of Light, initially smaller gatherings of community members need support. These smaller groups can share and build the visionary energies necessary for igniting the flames of peace, which can then be embraced and stoked further as increasing numbers of city members come together with enough shared vision to collaborate for various causes, for local benefit and world contribution.

Together, Pathways To Peace and Project Evolve share in the vision of the International Cities of Peace Organization. and the envisioned Mindfulness City of Bhutan. We hope to inspire visionary Peace Projects becoming established in every corner of our world.

 

As hometown of David Wick (President of PTP), the city of Ashland, Oregon is already established as an International City of Peace (see interactive map or list). Likewise, Ashland has brought a World Peace Flame home, through the Ashland Culture of Peace Commission. With PTP Executive Director Tezikiah Gabriel and additional leadership of both PTP and Project Evolve located in Minnesota, the next goal is to establish an initial International City of Peace within a city in Minnesota with a similar readiness for civic engagement as Ashland, Oregon and to spread that intention for International Cities of Peace and World Peace Flames to spread more broadly through both states and beyond, nationally and internationally.
